1-to-1 Landscape Astrophotography Coaching

I’m based in Dorset and happy to offer 1-to-1 coaching as an introduction to landscape astrophotography, tailored to your camera, experience and what you’d like to learn.

£50 per hour

Sessions can cover:

• Camera basics for night photography

• Recommended Milky Way settings

• Focusing accurately on the stars

• Understanding ISO, aperture and shutter speed

• Hands-on help setting up your camera and tripod

• Composition and planning your night shoot

• Intro to  helpful apps such as PhotoPills

• Practical tips for getting sharper, cleaner images

• Advice on lenses, equipment and accessories

• Basic introduction to stacking, tracking and editing if required

Sessions can be arranged:

Online – ideal for camera setup, settings, planning and preparation.

Face-to-face – hands-on help with your own camera and equipment.

Outdoors – practical guidance under the night sky, putting everything into practice in a real landscape astrophotography session.

No previous astrophotography experience is needed. The aim is to give you the confidence to understand your equipment, set up independently and start capturing the night sky successfully.
